Hey Mike the Internet Marketing Guy…. It’s time to pay up. The deal was that if the Sox won, you’d post an entry of embarrassing defeat in my team’s honor. And of course, if the Rockies won — I’d do the same.

I’d like to say it was close.
I’d like to say the Rockies played well.
I’d like to say it was an entertaining series. But, I’d be lying.

Tonight was interesting for a little bit, but once Papelbon got in there, it was lights out.

Mike, I’m sorry the Rockies couldn’t deliver on your hopes… But I think Lisa summed up the situation well in her post on Friday. So, please get blogging and we’ll all stay tuned to your blog looking for your post of defeat.

And for those that think Lisa, Brendan or myself may be a bit conceited on being Red Sox fans… I’m sorry. Get over it.
