The Facts, Revisited: SEOs p3wn Calacanis

Props to GrayWolf on this find.

What’s the best way to rid your new “engine” of spam? Well, it’s to give those spammers free links from your up and coming search engine err, “human edited search product”.

Check out the wonderfully lame Mahalo Blog at: http://blog.mahalo.com/?p=18

Note to readers… This is how you reference sites without actually creating a link. If any of you are friendly with Jason Calacanis or the Mahalo crew, please pass along this advanced piece of web knowledge.

  • Yahoo Nulpts Semel; Yang In as CEO

What many have predicted for months appears to be coming true… Yahoo has nulpt CEO Terry Semel and will be replacing him with co-founder Jerry Yang. Alongside Yang, Sue Decker is expected to take seat as Yahoo! president.

The thread references a New York Times article called Online Sales Are Losing Steam, and it’s certainly worth a read on a number of levels.

The most compelling question that comes as a result of this story though, is asking yourself — What happens when my sites don’t sell?
