Hey Mike the Internet Marketing Guy…. It’s time to pay up. The deal was that if the Sox won, you’d post an entry of embarrassing defeat in my team’s honor. And of course, if the Rockies won — I’d do the same.

I’d like to say the Rockies played well.
I’d like to say it was an entertaining series. But, I’d be lying.

Tonight was interesting for a little bit, but once Papelbon got in there, it was lights out.

Mike, I’m sorry the Rockies couldn’t deliver on your hopes… But I think Lisa summed up the situation well in her post on Friday. So, please get blogging and we’ll all stay tuned to your blog looking for your post of defeat.

And for those that think Lisa, Brendan or myself may be a bit conceited on being Red Sox fans… I’m sorry. Get over it.

My earlier predictions on Dice-K were flawed — but the tickets are booked. The bags are packed. The Rockies are heading to Boston to open up the 2007 World Series at Fenway Park.

Last night it was JD Drew… Tonight, it was Dustin Pedroia. Wednesday night… We’ll just have to wait and see.

Now… despite being a Boston fan… I cannot STAND these commercials with Dane Cook. Is there any way we can stop all of them now? PLEASE!?

Crazy. That’s what Matt called me last night… But we’ve got a small, friendly wager on how well Dice-K will perform tonight for the Sox in Game 7.

My call last night is that dice gets through six full innings while giving up just one earned run, therefore handing a World Series opportunity to the Sox’s offense.

After one half of an inning… I like what I see!
