For Agencies
Senior SEO and analytics capacity, without the headcount
You sold the work. Now it has to get delivered by someone who has done it before.
Senior capacity, on your terms.
I’m Eric Lander. Twenty-five years in search and analytics, agency-side and in-house. For the last decade I’ve worked as the senior SEO and analytics function for agencies that couldn’t justify the role full time. Blocks of hours, billed monthly, white label by default. No new hire, no agency-to-agency retainer you have to manage.
The situation
Most agencies I talk to are in one of three spots
You’re selling SEO because clients ask for it. The work gets absorbed by a strategist or a developer who’s capable but not specialized, and nobody is fully confident in what gets reported back.
You’re mid-search for a senior hire. That’s three to six months and a salary you may not want to commit to yet. Meanwhile the work still has to ship.
You just launched a redesign and organic traffic moved. Now someone has to explain why, quickly, to a client who is watching.
All three are capacity problems, not strategy problems. That’s what this is for.
Coverage
What I cover
Hands-on delivery, not oversight. I do the work and I can explain it to your client.
Technical SEO
Crawlability, rendering, indexation, site architecture, internal linking, schema and structured data, page performance. Recommendations written so a developer can implement them without a translation layer.
On-page and content SEO
Keyword and intent research, competitive analysis, content briefs your writers can actually use, and editorial review for search intent, quality and brand voice. I’ve managed content workflows across writers, account teams, PMs and developers.
Local SEO
Google Business Profile, local listings and citations, multi-location structure. I ran SEO across 170-plus client sites at ADP, so scale and consistency are familiar territory.
AI visibility, GEO and AEO
How your client’s content is represented in AI Overviews, AI Mode and assistants, assessed with evidence rather than guesswork. Includes the technical floor most GEO conversations skip: AI crawlers don’t execute JavaScript, so plenty of sites are invisible before strategy even enters the picture.
Analytics and measurement
GA4 implementation and review, Search Console, event and conversion tracking, and finding out whether the numbers in the report can be trusted. Frequently they can’t, and that’s worth knowing before a QBR.
Reporting and dashboards
Executive-ready Data Studio dashboards your account team and your client will actually open. Built once, maintained, and readable by someone who doesn’t work in search.
Migration and launch risk
Protecting organic visibility through redesigns, replatforms and URL changes. Pre-launch review, redirect mapping, and post-launch verification, so a new site doesn’t cost your client their traffic.
Audits and diagnostics
Full site reviews that end with a prioritized plan rather than a 200-item checklist. Deliverable-ready for your client, in your brand.
Platforms: WordPress, Shopify, Webflow. Tools: GA4, Search Console, Google Business Profile, Screaming Frog, Semrush, Moz, Ahrefs, Data Studio. Comfortable in HTML and CSS, and comfortable in a ticket.
Fit
Who this is for
I work with agencies serving B2B software and technology, professional services, financial services, healthcare, higher education, biotech and life sciences, ecommerce, and multi-location and franchise brands.
What those have in common is what I’m actually good at: complex organizations where marketing reports to someone non-technical, approvals move through several people, and the analytics nobody fully trusts are still the basis for the next budget decision.
If your clients look like that, we’ll get along.
Pricing
Blocks of hours, billed monthly
Use them how you need them. No annual commitment, no minimum term.
Standard block
10 hours / month
$1,750
$175 per hour
Ongoing senior oversight, a monthly review cadence, or a single focused project.
Extended block
20+ hours / month
from $3,000
$150 per hour
For agencies with several accounts in play, or a larger engagement running alongside the day-to-day.
Month to month. Thirty days notice on either side.
Unused hours roll forward. Client approvals slip, internal resources get pulled, scope moves. Up to 25% of an unused block carries into the following month, so a quiet month doesn’t cost you anything.
Fixed-scope projects available. If you’d rather buy an outcome than hours, audits start at $750.
How this works
How I work inside your process
White label by default. I’m your senior resource. Your brand, your deliverables, your client relationship. My name doesn’t appear unless you want it to.
I don’t approach your clients. Not during, not after. That isn’t a policy that needs explaining to me.
Client-facing when it helps. I’ve spent twenty-five years in rooms with nervous executives and non-technical marketing leads. Put me on the call and I’ll show up prepared and speak plainly. Keep me behind the curtain and that’s fine too.
I work in your tools. Slack, Asana, Jira, Basecamp, whatever you already use. You shouldn’t have to change how you operate to bring in help.
Availability is honest. I hold a full-time marketing leadership role and consult alongside it. That means a limited number of engagements and straight answers about turnaround. What you get is senior judgment on the things that need it, not a body filling a seat.

Client work stays confidential. References available on request, and I’m glad to arrange a conversation with someone who has worked with me.
Straight talk
What I’ll tell you
If an engagement isn’t a fit, I’ll say so on the first call rather than after you’ve paid.
Some problems aren’t SEO problems. Some are already understood and simply aren’t resourced. And some genuinely need a full-time person rather than a fractional one. Paying me to confirm what you already know is a bad use of your budget and a worse use of my time.
Tell me what’s going on
If there’s a fit, I’ll tell you what I’d do and what it costs. If there isn’t, I’ll tell you that too.
